This workshop has been designed to assist family members of people with a mental illness to become more self-aware and to enhance their self-esteem.

Purpose:

This workshop is all about becoming your own best friend, strengthening the foundation of your life with healthy self-esteem and improved relationships.

Week One: Building your self-esteem.

Week Two: Negative Self Talk, and ways to nurture yourself.

Week Three: False and destructive concepts of human behaviour.

Week Four: Self-esteem – how do we get it? What is co-dependence and how does it affect my life?

Week Five: Relationships
myths about relationships
the three stages of relationships
building sound communication

Week Six: Spiritual growth – developing deeper meaning and purpose for life.

Workshop time:
Workshops are to be held throughout the Hunter at various locales.The workshop with run for six (6) weeks, for two (2) hours per week.
