Coralie Reeve (B.Couns.Dip.Prof.Couns.CAPA)
is a Clinical Counsellor and is currently the Family Counsellor
and Group facilitator for ARAFMI Hunter.
Since 1998 Coralie has practiced as
a Counsellor and Psychotherapist in both private practice
and in a wide range of services. These include working
with dual diagnosis; those that are homeless or at a risk
of becoming homeless due to complex issues; and running
a variety of workshops including self-esteem, assertiveness,
self-care, grief and loss, coping skills, and the eight
stages of healing.
Coralie has worked as a professional
counsellor with Lifeline, where she also trained telephone
counsellors, and ran groups and workshops. She has extensive
experience working with those who are experiencing depression
and are at risk of suicide, as well as facilitating support
groups for those who are bereaved by suicide. Her belief
is that each client is unique; therefore therapy needs
to be individually adapted to the client's needs using
many therapeutic models. She uses an eclectic approach
based on a client centered, strength based therapy and
has a particular interest in Mindfulness using Acceptance
and Commitment Therapy. Coralie is Registered with CAPA
and PACFA as well as Myers Briggs accredited.
